That's easy...:)

Shame, frame, dame, lame, maim, main, gain, grain, rain, drain, refrain, brain, crane, explain... It doesn'thave to be an "...ame" word...anything that ends in "ane" works just as well.

Perhaps a stretch

I'm having a hard time coming up with nautical terms that rhyme with "name", but here are some similar sounding words (mostly with "ane" instead of "ame" endings): Main - as in mainsail Vane - as in wind vane Chain - as in anchor chain or chainplates Vang - as in boom vang Belay - as in belaying pin Boatswain - as in bos'n Gain - as in Gain the wind, to work to windward of another boat Tang - fittings on the mast to secure shrouds Gang plank - as in Walk the plank! Partyain, Sailain, Cruisain - lol There are plenty of nautical words that start with the letter N that may work (Neptune, neap tides, nesting, nimbus, northers, nun). Sorry I couldn't come up with more. Now let's hear "the long story"! Best, Trevor

10,000 boat names

It is hard to find from some pages on HOW, but there is a site on here called "10,000 Boat Names". You might look around in there. Phil, anyway to make this easier to access?
