Hi US Vega owners

I may need a little help for a US Vega owner. I want to buy a GARMIN
BLUECHART CDROM (ATLANTIC) but they will not ship to the UK. I have seen
them for sale on AMAZON.COM for about $135. Any chance of someone getting
it for me and posting toi me in the UK?

Amazon won't ship to the UK? Why on earth not? I have had them drop-ship books to my friends in Canada. In any case, I'll be happy to help. I'll check to see if they will drop-ship to you on my order. If they won't do that, I'll have them send it to me here, then I'll post it to you.

I just checked Amazon and they have several model numbers for the Atlantic Chart CDs. Which model are you looking for?

Assuming it is "Garmin MapSource Atlantic BlueChart CD-Rom (Model 010-10318-00)", the price of $134.95 is for the item from a sub-vendor. The price for a new one directly from Amazon is $183.95. As near as I can tell, Amazon will allow me to order and drop ship directly to you but the sub-vendor will not. Also, FWIW, I have tried the sub-vendors in the past and have been less than satisfied with the service and the products. If it were me, I'd pay the extra $$ and get the one from Amazon, still, fifty bucks is fifty bucks. Let me know.

If they send to the UK then they will charge Import Duty, VAT etc etc etc. Ends up as a fortune. If you could get the CD then post it on to me I would be grateful. I can arrange to pay you through Diana's account as she has a US Dollar account in Bermuda. The CD I am after is:

Garmin Bluechart CD (Atlantic). On Amazon it was $135 which included postage within the US. Let me know how you get on.

I checked on the response from the sub-vendor and he seemed ok. As yous ay $50 is $50. You had the correct CD-Rom. I would prefer the cheaper option even if it takes a little longer. The prices in the UK are terrible.
