I am new at sailing and I just bought a Sirius 21 with my buddy. We wanted a transportable sailboat so we could take it to different places with our family. We were also hoping to be able to take it on our own, raise the mast, launch it, go for a sail, come back, take down the mast and bring it back home. It turns out that you really need to be two people to set it up. I saw a video on youtube, with a pretty elaborate raising system (see link) but I don't think I can build such an aparatus. Is there an easy way to raise the mast on your own, with as little aparatus building as possible.
