Help Need to Replace Damaged Engine Contol Sliding Hatch Cover Located in the CockPit Well on my 1988 Cal 33 ( Jensen Marine Manufactue also made Oday Sailboats) It kinda looks like it could have been made by a Port Manufacturer. Actually it only holds 2 plastic sliding Panels that protect the Engine Controls Its sandwiched between the recessed cowling and the Boats Fiberglass It looks like Hell and it Finally made it to the Top of the List!!

Steph Good thought but I Need the moulding not the Windows. I sent out a request to Beckson( Port Mfg.), SSI ( custom Plastic Mfg) and today to Maritime Plastics ( Annapolis company specializing in replacements)I'll post what I find. Also I'm going to try D & R Marine Fall River. Near where they made Cals. There was a guy who worked in the Cal yard who was active on the Cal message board 4-5 years ago. Bet he would know........... As a last resort I'll make spacer from 1/2 inch thick Starboard to fit Rear Recessed Engine Control Panel and 1/4 inch thick front Cover Frame. It will work but I'd like to get it back to orginial. I've found that it really doesn't need to be covered ( sliding doors) just want it to look better. Its pretty chipped up. Due to the Aft propane Locker and Port Settee There isn't any gimmee room.

Found a Nice Solution
Found a Recessed Engine control box That fits Ok. About 1/2 inch short on width and Length however it will look Very Nice! Sits 1 1/2 deep. Its not covered but I realize that I was out for 2 1/2 years without any cover on and no damage. Also with shiping under $40. If you're interested email: clcjr54@hotmail.com
