Help my dad find the mystery model

My dad was given an O'Day sailboat that was damaged. He is going to restore it and we are trying to find out more information about the boat. The boat is approximately 16 feet long. It has a plate with a hull number of 5684 and class number of 952. Anyone know how we can identify this boat? Ann

does it have any form of a 'cabin', if so it is a daysailor which is the only thing in that size, 14' is a javelin and next is 19'.
