I trying to find a stainless shackle that has the screw type pin similar to the one in the picture that is 2" wide to accommodate a 2" strap and I am not having any luck anywhere. Working load has to be at least 300 lbs. Help a guy out here and post a link to one please.

Thanks
Ron

...Or fold the strap. A 2" strap creates terrible leverage on the pin.

Sharing the application would help.

I'm making a lift sling and the 2" strap needs to fit through a 2" D-Ring then the shackle will be reinstalled on the strap once the strap is through the D-Ring.

If you are only lifting 300lbs some type of soft shackle or Amsteel strop with chafe protection would be a simple solution. Without an eye or other method of retaining the shackle your configuration looks like a quick way to deep-six an expensive piece of stainless steel gear.

I actually thought about a soft shackle, and researching them a little more, it might actually be the way to go.

Actually thinking of using a carabiner Might be a better solution. I think the shackle pin has to be so heavy duty that it makes them too big and bulky

Yes I was looking into those also when I was looking at different carabiners. I need a triangle type that will take a 2" strap and then hang from the top corner. I would need to be stainless or aluminum also
