Timm R 25 Oday

I 've been driving past this boat for 6 months or so.It's makes me sad to think that at one time ,this was someone's pride and joy. So far I've resisted the urge to walk up to the house and ask about it. My Oday is nearing completion. If that can really be possible. What say you fine folks? Any ideas what this boat might be?

Lets see, 4 ports, smaller doghouse forward, classic lines

It looks a bit like a Tartan 30'but the lower v-berth section of the doghouse is inconsistent with later Tartan models which have a consistent line with the cabin top. I give up. It looks a little careworn but like a decent boat with a little elbow grease, sweat equity, bloody knuckles and cursing wouldn't help though. I would guess that it is about from the same time as a T30 ('71-'??) though. Perhaps a little earlier even to say '65? I'm stumped.

Cal

This looks like an early Cal 25 or 26. It does have an Alberg/Pearson look but the fin keel says Cal to me.

Definitely not

a Cal or anAlberg. Alberg, while using the stepped cabin did not use those irregular shaped windows. I don't know what it is,but am sure it is not Cal or Alberg.

Catalina 28 Branford
Pearson Renegade

It looks like a Pearson Renegade. A 27 footer designed by Bill Shaw that combined the classic above waterline lines of an Alberg/Rhodes looking boat with a fin keel/spade rudder.
