Help locating fluxgate compass

The autopilot (Raymarine 6001) on my 2002 Hunter 410 has started acting up. The compass reading is off and moves around randomly. The Raymarine site recommends checking the fluxgate compass to see if anything is interfering with it. I have looked high and low but cannot locate the fluxgate compass. Can anyone give me a hint as to where it might be hidden onthis model?

On my 2002 H410 the Fluxgate compass is...

...installed under the bottom righthand(aft) drawer under the bed in the forward stateroom. The installer even put a warning sticker in that drawer.

In the engine compartment??

When I look at the bulkhead from the aft cabin there is the engine box and a mirror. Is your fluxgate compass in the engine box?
