I just made an offer on a '81 H22. The owner said that he took on about an inch of water a week from the point at which the sink drain hose exits the hull...anyone else have this issue? Whow how to fix and how much would cost? Should I buy or am I crazy?....need fast answer!....Seth

Doubt it's a big deal

You wouldn't even have to haul it out if the drain isn't below the water line. Get him to come down in price, or give him your agreed price after he has had it repaired (by a professional).

Nothing

It's the perfect time of year for this stuff. Take a trip to the boat store and buy a NEW thru hull fitting, as well as some new hose and sealant. Probably wouldn't be a bad idea to rebed the keel bolts as well. Also, check ALL the deck fittings. All my stantions were leaking year (badly). Note: If your electrical panel is still mounted low on the staboard bunk...... GET IT OUT OF THERE! The bilge water coroded the hell out of mine. Good luck, they're a great boat.
