wedges

the new spinlocks are a little differnt and the new ones come with the wedges in the bottom of the package. Use them. You want the power cleat to be angled upward toward the cockpit. If you need a picture on the 23.5, then email me again and I will photo you of just an installation I just did. davecondon@mindspring.com

Spinlock Wedge

Rick: Looked at my wedges and the little blemish you mention is at the top of the wedge on the thin edge; so I guess I installed them right side up. Hope that helps.

Wedges

when I installed my cam cleats, they came with wedges. One for ABOVE the deck, and one for BELOW the deck. I don't have a picture, but the below deck wedge made it for the nut to both thread on straight and be flat against the wedge. If you have tapped holes, however...it seems difficult.
