Help identify cal model

I like that you bought her. Hopefully she is in good shape and you can enjoy many years of sailing fun on her.
I would caution you examine the rigging before you sail her. A boat that old and likely with original rigging is due for a total refit of wire rigging that holds the mast in place. Inspect the spreaders. A lot of Cal boats were launched with wooden spreaders. They are great if maintained. They rot if not. The chain plates should all be removed and inspected for pit and crevice corrosion.

Transom Rudder = smaller than the Cal 30 series. The older Cal's were all inboard spade rudders in that size range, IIRC.
Might be an O'Day 25, and that's a decent little cruiser.

Anyone who guessed not cal is correct. It is an AMD paceship. The numbers on the transom are Payb0155m778. Are these good boats?

From the outside and inside it looks a lot like an Oday 25, but the 25 had a deck stepped mast, and your pics look like keel stepped unless someone used a mast section to replace the wood compression post.

Thanks everyone for you help. I am no longer a sailboat owner. I got out of the deal. The plan was to motor the boat from joe wheeler state park up the Tennessee river to Knoxville, tn. Since it has no engine,is almost 5 hours from home, and the misrepresented what they were selling, I figured it wasn't meant to be.
