I happen to be up in the US on some family business. Of course, that gives me the opportunity to spend some money on Casual Water. In the past,I have had great (and inexpensive) luck, using the cushions made for the tops of Igloo Coolers, which come in many different sizes. There is a size for practically every spot in the cockpit of an H33. But, wouldn't you know it...I left my measurements in Cabo! So....could anyone please measure the helmsman's seat, and the lateral distance, port to starboard, of the cockpit footwell, ie between the seat FRONTS, not the backs? When I did my measurements, I noted in the West Catalog, that there was a perfect cushion for each place...but which was it??? Terry, is your boat still sitting in your front yard? Thanks.

I'd be happy to take the measurements off of my 1983 this weekend, but I know there are differences between the early sloped house 33's and the later squared house. As I recall, yours is the earlier model. The differences are slight, but enough to make a difference. Don Bodeman and I have talked about doing a comparison of the two models as soon as we get a chance to get aur twwo boats together again. Can you wait 10 or 15 years? Just kidding. Sam, actually, Casual Water is a 1980 model, with the more boxy cabin. I remember seeing one of the curved cabin models once, and the cockpit coaming did seem a bit lower than mine. I have no idea about any differences on the cabin seats, but I will probably have made my way to the East Coast within the next fifteen years, so you can make a comparison sooner than anticipated

There somethng that fits every cockpit seat on the H33, by the way. Sometime this weekend, I will be heading back West, and then down to Mexico.
