Help!
I have a Moorings 405, and the rudder binds up when I head downwind with following seas. The rudder works perfectly in all other headings. I've had the upper and lower shaft bearings replaced, tested the rudder for looseness during haul out (none detected), the shaft looked ok when removed. I tested the steering with the emergency rudder, and had the same problems, so it's not the steering linkage. Any ideas what could cause this problem??
