Would anyone have a plan for a helmsman's seat that would go between the the cockpit seats in the back of the cockpit. I want to put my gas tank under it.The seat would be made of teak slats. The problem I have is how to make it secure to the side walls of the cockpit seats. I would like to be able to lift it out to get at the gas tank under. I saw one in the Jan/Feb issue of Good Old Boat about the Tanzer 7.5 page 47. I would like any help I can on how to make it. Thanks Matthew

Port Locker?

What's wrong with using the tank storage under the side seats? My 71 C22 has the tank storage area under the port cockpit seat. Fumes I suspect, but proper ventilation should keep those to a minimum.
