Does anyone have an opinion good or bad on the Helms 27 also if you have any personal experience with the Helms sailboats do you have any advise on any trouble areas that I should pay close attention to? Thanks

I bought a Helms 25 back in about 1974 and trailered and sailed it all over the US. Florida, great Lakes, East Coast. It was not the best built boat but I had it until about 5 years ago. Sailed coastal and lakes. It is not an offshore boat. Mine was a centerboard with an outboard motor. I hear though the later boats were better quality. Still, I never felt I was sinking or threatened.
