helm station platform

i am having trouble finding a product i can use to raise my eye level at the helm station, of a new catalina mkii 36, i need about another 3" to see comfortably over my dodger canopy. i would like to find a firm , closed cell type cushion i can stand on.ideally it would be firm (i weigh 230 lbs), durable and non absorbant . the size i neede is approx. 20" x 28" X 3 or 4",in a sort of T shape. my other choice i guess is to build something out of teak. thanks for any help.allan yarkon hull#2258"king me".

Hi Allan -Check out the chandlery right here at CatalinaOwners.com - Bottomsiders has a hump helm product for just such a purpose (although it's intended to sit on, not stand). Another option is C Cushions. They sell a line of closed cell foam cushions that is very similar to the BottomSiders.
