Our son is a rescue specialist with CCG in the Great Lakes area. I know I’m concerned with his well being this season. The job comes with a known level of risk that he signed up for but this is a lot different. They are lots busy enough dealing with truly essential vessel traffic, commercial fishing - supply chain freighter traffic etc. Recreational boaters really don’t have to be out there right now.Here's something from this cricket:

I read it as don't do any non-essentail trips, stay close to home, go daysailing, no island wants you (for good reason these days), safety first - consider your neighbors, too.

Terry, I believe the 2 countries agreed on another 30 days closure on Apr 19. So we are looking at about 2 weeks after your Governor reopens boating in WA.Maybe the Canadian border around that time, too?
