Can someone tell me the "air draft" of the mast on a Hunter 260 when it's stowed and on the trailer?
I have a Mac 26S that I keep on its trailer in my driveway, under a Shelter Logic carport-canopy. I'm planning to sell the Mac and buy a Hunter 260 in the near future and I'm trying to decide how much I'll need to raise the canopy so it will fit. The inside peak of the canopy is 9'4" above the driveway, which gives small-but-sufficient clearance for the Mac mast. I'm pretty sure the Hunter mast will be higher, so my plan is to raise the canopy, but I don't yet know how much I'll need to raise it.
[Anticipating some responses: I know the Hunter is wider and, yes, it'll be a tight fit, but I'm not worried about that. I also know that the lifeline stanchions are a clearance concern, but one thing at a time.]
