A friend sent me this. Here's the latest drug runner toy from Europe ... This thing belts across the English channel 3 times per week and was just a blur on the radar of the British Coast Guard. They were so astonished by the speed of the unknown craft, they brought in a special high speed helicopter to chase it. Drugs were found on board. Of course, you'd have to be on drugs to put the throttle down on this rig.

needed to run this thing for more than 20 nanoseconds?

There has to be a better way to install

2000 horse power in a boat. How do you synchronize 8 engines. Those things would drive a man insane listening to all of the beats.

thats an old picture

of a boat used to push barges and other boats around tugboat style. A hull shape like that would not be very fast in the channel.

I checked snopes out and it's real. There are more pictures there, too. Supposed to do about 70mph. I'm sure it can probably carry a decent sized load at that speed

Saw this picture somewhere a couple of years ago. I think the story then was that it was in Texas.
