Pooping :)

I think my rudder can handle going backwards at less then a knot, which is what a sea anchor is suppose to do, then my cockpit can take breaking 30' waves pooping on my large cockpit.

I have read

This thread and I wonder how many that have contributed have taken the time to read "Storm Tactics" by Pardy, or "Heavy Weather Sailing " by Adlard Coles. Or "Seaworthyness - The Forgotten Factor" by C.A. Marchaj. I have read many opinions here, some by people that have survived storms and many by people that have not experienced heavy storm conditions. It has been fun reading but not very educational.
