Hello fellow Benny Owners, I cruise inthe Pacific Northwest area, summer only so far, and would like try some spring and fall cruising

I am considering: espar airtronic D4, wallas 30D, and webasto top air 3500.

I have ruled out the Dickinson firelaces as I have no space to mount or exaust it.

I also am considering a hydronic unit from heater craft on the engine loop. This only works when motoring.

Forced air is my prefference, but I am having trouble with the duct routing to the Head.

Hydronic is my last choice due to very complex systems and no humidity control. The bene 331 with the location of the engine being in the middle of the hull, they can't be part of the engine loop due the exaust pipe routing limitations. so two separate loops, no way.

What do you have?
Where is the unit installed?
where are the pipes routed?
How many outlets do you have?
Any pictures available?

Well, I live in SoCal, so my heat needs are minimal, but I use an upside-down clay flower pot on a stove burner. Any pot, besides non-stick, can be used. A large pasta pot upside down on a burner works very well.

Mikuni .. Blown air .. You think you have problems .. Beneteau 323 .. Out on a swing mooring .. No power for tools .. All done by hand .. Including cutting the 80mm holes for the tubes .. Outlet in the salon . One in the heads ( It was on the way ) one in aft cabin .. Brilliant .. Happy Cutting ......

Ps .. Makuni Heater is situated in the Starboard Locker .. High up out of the way on its own suspended bracket . Diesel is from the diesel filter as I could not get to the top of the tank .. :eek:
