Our experience
Scott,We have a 155 that came with our 82 (we have had the boat for four years). The original 110 jib, which was included, had never been modifide for RF. After fighting the 155 through the 10-20 knot fall winds we had the 110 set up for RF during the winter. Out plan was to use the 110 spring and fall and the 155 during the doldrums of July and August. The last two years we have not used the 155 as the summers have not been typical (or maybe they are?). We are not power sailors nor racers so we just accept a bit less performance or maybe we are just too lazy to change the sail. Anyway, in my opinion, the 155 is a light air sail (probably under 10)which would of course have advantages if you wanted to get somewhere. The disadvantages are visability, getting it through on a tack, and maybe too much canvas when it starts to blow.Andy"Baroque"
