Can anyone point me at a source for replacement faucets? Both leak and look disgusting. They are 4" centers.

Single Lever

Patrick, I just used some Delta kitchen replacements. The single lever makes the temperature adjustment a lot easier. PS let me know your e mial, I have some of the details on the mast bending tackle.

Delta? 4" centers still?

How about the shower take off? I'm at patrick.randall@comcast.net Since we talked last, I've ordered up a new (the old one had stranded) top bit of 3/16 running to a new schaefer eye jaw block. The bottom 1/" wire runs through that and to a 4:1 fiddle block purchase using Schaefer 5 series blocks. I figured the old 3/16" wire was 3700 odd lbs and 1/" is 1750lbs (x2) so hopefully will turn out right (too late now - its on order!) I'm banking on about 8" total take up by the purchase giving about 4" "pull" What you reckon?

Home Depot, Lowes, .....

or any RV dealer, anything that doesn't say Marine cause that only inflates the price

Right Track

Patrick, sounds like you are on the right track. My replacement bridle is 5/32 wire and I turned my working end through a block on the stbd eye and installed a copper sleeve before the nicropress eye. This provides a backup if the tackle were to fail (pretty rare). I have a cascaded set up 3:1 and 6:1 which dead ends on the rail just aft of the first stanchion. I have double turning blocks(jib sheet) with built in jam cleats and use the top position for the bitter end. I found that you needed the 36:1 advantage to keep the line pull in reason. I used Harken blocks but just a personal preference. You will be surprised how much better the boat sails to windward when you put on a little mast bend. For the shower I use independent controls not attached to the sink.

RV Store

If you go to your local RV store, you will find all of the same brands used in boats. And a lot of times they will have the exact replacement parts that you need. Oh yes, the prices will be cheaper.

Lowes, Home Depot or any plumbing supply

In pressurized water systems, a faucet is a faucet, and the plumbing sizes are all the same, whether on a boat, in an RV or in a house--nothing "marine" or "RV" about 'em. Go with the best quality if you want to last more than a few years in a salt air environment. Unfortunately, though, you're stuck with a marine supply source if you have to replace manual hand or foot pump fixtures.
