They say it's six foot but............
It's 6 foot but only at the bottom of the stairs. If you move a foot or so forward it's less. Oh, of coarse with the hatch open its more. Seriously, the Catalia 27 has a large entrance way that makes it seem larger, but to anwser your question it's 6 foot {hatch closed, and only for a small area around the galley}. Good Luck, Jack
