I'm working on taking down the headliner and painting the fiberglass with white paint. Getting the glue off is impossiblely diffuclt. We've used Acetone and scrapers so far. Has anyone tried 3M 6040 Glue Remover?? OR any other agressive chemicles to get the old glue out? Thanks, Nathan 813 426 3549

glue

Sorry but I didn't have a glue problem when I removed my headliner. My headliner was not glued to the fiberglass but to plywood sheets screwed to the fibeglass. Is the glue hard? Have you tried sanding?

everything but upermost headliner

The problem is everywhere head liner is except the uppermost cabin top. everywhere else the headliner is glued directly to the fiberglass deck underside
