Headliner Material (perforated cushion type)

Checking out some boats around the marina recently, I noticed a foam-like headliner material that had perforated round holes in it (like you'd see on a suspended ceiling in office buildings). It was somewhat spongy to the touch and looked to provide acoustic and thermal insulation to the cabin.

Can anyone identify this material?
