Heading to Dry Tortugas

We will be heading to the Dry Tortugas with a buddy boat leaving on the 7th - 10th or 11th of Oct. Departing from Boca Chica Marina in Key West and making a straight run (non-stop). If anyone is interested in coming the more boats the better.

James, Watch your weather window. There's no place to hide and it can get really rough in a frontal passage. Otherwise,in my opinion, it's more beautiful than the Bahamas . . . and usually less crowded. Good luck and safe sailing, Ron

Hurricane season is not officially over until Novemeber but it looks like this year we are getting a cold front early. Nevertheless keep an eye on the weather for the forecasts for the duration of your trip. Enjoy. Oh, if you have a powered dink make sure it is duly registered as the marine patrol likes to check down there.
