Heading South

[Perfect Excuse]

We desire to relocate our Hunter 410 to La Paz, Mexico from Port Moody, B.C. Currently, I have certain limitations that prohibit me from the obvious, sailing out of Vancouver then hard to port and due south. Has anyone have experience trucking a 41 foot boat that distance and across two boarders? Any recommendations or thoughts? Thanks.

I keep my Hunter at Reed Point, and plan to sail it south some day. Why not take a few weeks and sail yours to Mexico ... what a great trip that would be!

(Or pay me to do it, I think I can raise a crew).

Hire

You could hire a captain and crew and go with them parts of the way and you will learn a lot for sure.
I had a friend captain with his friends for crew and I went with them frrom NY to Florida east coast and it was my first all ocean trip and than I took my boat from east coast around the keys to west coast with 2 non boater crew,it was great.

Sounds like you have the perfect excuse to sail down to mexico.
