Check your raw water intake hose.

Don: I would remove the raw water intake from the toilet and see if you are getting any flow. Sometime you can get "stuff" in the hose/thru hull valve that will restrict the water flow. I assume that you probably have a manual Jabsco. I suggest that you consider a Raritan PHII. You really do not want to spend any money on a Jabsco. THey are over-priced when they are new and on sale at $100 (in my opinion).

Ok, the boat is a 91 and I am sure it is the original head. When it was in the water i checked to see that it was clear at the throughull, but I did not check the hose/interior. I will be back with more info in a week or two. Thanks for the help so far. BBL Don

If the toilet is original, it's 17 years old...

So my guess for the reason it's not bringing in any flush water OR pumping anything out: the pump is worn out. "Rebuild" or "service" kits are available for all manual toilets--and most electric ones too--but if yours is the typical OEM installed jabsco compact, the kit costs almost as much as a complete new Jabsco toilet, so it's not worth it. Even if rebuilding it gets it working again, it's old enough for hardware to start failing. Over a couple of years you could end up spending more to keep it working than it would cost you to replace it...not to mention all the aggravation that will go with it before you give up on it. Steve's advice to replace it with a PH II is good advice. The PH II is about $100 more than a Jabsco, but it will last at least 20 years with minimal maintenance...you'll be lucky to get two trouble free years from a Jabsco...and not a lot more from any other toilet that costs less the PH II...which, btw has been consistantly rated the best manual toilet
