You could measure the sail with your main halyard
Tie a line to the shackle, run it up till it reaches the head of the jib, pull it taut, then mark where the..... ummmm.... tack and clew are. Then pull the line down and measure.I'd say it's a good idea to actually measure, rather than rely on specifications..... I know that my boat ('86H31) got a new rig about 12 years ago - long before I bought it. I assume that it is the same dimensions as the original, but can't be sure.
