Head motor hung

When I hit the switch to flush the head, the motor is locked up. I can hear it humm when I attempt to flush. Either something stuck in it, or the motor seized up. Anything I can do before removing it to check it out. Its a real pain with very little space to work in to remove the screws and since some genius used slotted screws instead of phillips.

Yep...I'd say it's definitely time to replace it. And I'd replace the whole pump motor assembly instead of only the motor. Assuming it's a Jabsco, the price difference is only about $50 and it gives you a new toilet except for the bowl seat and lid.

Best price I saw for it was $219 at Defender. Just be sure it's the complete pump/motor assembly and not just the motor..and I'm afraid it may be, 'cuz Defender has the motor only for $169.
