Has anyone replaced the head liner in a 1984 34 Hunter? If so what did you do and was it a success?

What were you thinking just paint or? I took my headliner down last winter when I replaced the cabin lights.
I just repainted them and they came out great

I had some water damage from a leak. I'm thinking about replacing mine as well. Not sure what I'll use yet

I took them down years ago and replaced the liner with white naugahyde which was glued in place with the sides and ends turned in and glued as well. Then screwed back the covered liner using SS formed washer to prevent the screw head from going through the naugahyde. Been almost 10 years and still looks good. Besides brightening the interior, it's easy to clean too as I just wipe it.
