HEAD LINER REMOVAL

I have Beneteau 285 #66, built Jan 1988. The headliner in the aft cabin has finally let go to such an extent that I had to remove it.After a thorough scraping and vacuuming, there still remains a residue of foam and glue. I would be interested in any tips which would help me clean this area to bare fiberglass or wood.Thanks,Dan Brown

acetone

The liner on my 1993 OC 350 dropped last month. I pulled and cut it out. I then used acetone and rags to melt/remove the residue. I plan to paint it of white, when I get a chance."have fun...."Marc

"Goof-off"

There is a product called "Goof Off" that I used to remove the glue and old foam dust from a Moorings 38 (First 38s5). Wear a respirator!
