Ok, it seems that the head isn't pumping in my "new" boat. It's an '89 H30 and I would think it's the original head. I know that there are service kits available, but as the head is original and in a semi-disgusting condition (visually) I figured I'd just buy a new one. Just how hard is this to do? It wouldn't seem too involved, but just want to make sure before I take the "plunge." Any words of wisdom for the soon to be plumber? Thanks.

Yep...it's time for a new toilet...
And most likely for new sanitation hoses too, if they're still original. Replacing a toilet is relatively easy...it's held down with lag bolts, so just disconnect the hoses, back out the bolts and fill the holes (even if the ones on the new toilet are match for any or all of 'em)...drill new holes that match the bolt pattern for the new toilet...set the new toilet down, bolt it down, reconnect the hoses. The big question is what toilet to buy. If you want a toilet that will be trouble-free with minimal maintance for the next 20 years, that's the Raritan PH II.
