First time boat ownership ... BIG learning curve.

If you enjoy your immersion into the cold water of the unknowns of boating, about every 6-10 years thereafter youll have deeper 'slaps' of a ~6 ft. longer 'immersion'. It gets to be 'fun' after awhile. Enjoy, and I hope your new 'addiction' grows and prospers.

.... the only time I take the time to learn a complete system on my boat is when something doesn't work.....
Not me...I'm such a nerd...I'm fascinated by everything and want to know how and why everything works like it does. I enjoy using my boat as well, but I can't be out sailing all the time...wish I could...but sometimes the conditions keep me in the slip....and I'm crawling all over it, looking at everything....man, I know every inch of my boat now....and I've learned alot about marine plumbing, DC electrics, sailboat hardware, teak refinishing, you name it! Maybe I'm a little obsessive? I don't know. I love my little boat and many times I just sit and stare at it, listening to music on the radio.
