The plastic laminate on the head door (waterproof for shower) has separated from the door and fallen off in pieces. Where can I find replacement laminate? How is laminate applied?

The Plastic laminate is approx 0.3 mm thick & bright gloss white.

go to a local cabinet shop ..and ask them to aquire you some ....and you will need to clean the surface and sand with a rough grit sand paper to creat a good bond......you will also need some contact cement .....try to find a water proof kind ...but bear in mind that this stuff is highly toxic and will overwelm you so use lots of ventalation ...you will also ahve to use a laminat roller to get a good bond ...and after you are through you will have to use a flush trim router to clean up the raw edges and prolly have to file the sharp edges as well .......if all the old peiaces are there and in good shape and not broken you may be able to reapply and us e a steam iron on high with a damp bath towel between the iron and the laminate surface ...and just iron it back on ....hope this helps.........

It is probably melamine. I would suggest that you take the door off and sand it down. Then you can re-skin it with formica. Be sure to use water proof contact cement.

I replaced the head countertop on my previous boat with some newer laminate. I got a sheet of it at Home Depot... lots of choices there.

Instead of rolling out contact cement, I opted to use "3M High Strength 90 Spray Adhesive" in a can. It was quicker and easier to just point and spray...just follow the directions.
