Head Conversion: Help

I recently became the beneficiary of a 1977 Hunter 30', with the original head. I would like to convert it to include a holding tank and otherwise bring the head into compliance with current law.Is there a kit available for this? I would appreciate any suggestions.Also, the original pump seems to be broken. Where could I obtain replacement parts for it?

First...replace the head

it's 23 years old... the average lifespan of any manual toilet is 5-7 years. There is no "one size fits all" kit. But I'll be glad to help you spec out the system you need. I recommend that you start educating yourself by reading the articles in the Head Mistress forum Reference Library (on the forum homepage). All of the above will not tell you what to do, but it should give you just enough information to allow you to ask intellgent questions AND begin to understand the answers...which is the best place to start. And I'll be glad to help you sort out the rest.I'ts not rocket science...but nothing you know about the toilet at home applies either. And every boat owner has to start somewhere.
