bulkhead

I want to dismantle the other bulkhead - between the head compartment and the lazarette. . .

well, I got the bulkhead removed - it was straightforward, but a bit of a pain in the ass! aside from removing all the trim pieces I had to take apart the little cabinet above the sink. . . I'll grab & post some pics this weekend (maybe then I'll get responseses to my posts?)

I'm wondering why you removed the bulkhead? I'm looking at the same job in order to replace the compression post. I'm worried that jacking the deck up will break loose whatever holds the bulkhead in place, and would like to at least unfasten the bulkhead before beginning the other job.

Sam, I think we're talkin' about different bulkheads. I'm taking out the bulkhead that separates the head compartment from the starboard lazarette. I removed it to install a holding tank; my project is a hybrid of a couple of holding tank refits to 33's here on this forum - I have a stock tank, but it is a wedge shape tank (I had to remove the bulkhead because the tank won't fit through the lazarette hatch - I hadn't considered that 'til after I had ordered the tank!)
