I have a 1975 Catalina 30 without the molded area in the anchor locker for the chain and rode. I'm thinking of putting in a haws pipe. The only place it would fit would be in the area between the front of the hatch and the stem head (planning on closer to the hatch). Anyone have any thoughts/information on this modification and if it would weaken the stem head area? Thanks. John
