If the water bag touches the water, the boat stops tipping. You pull the bag's control line in to stop the heeling. Ease the control line to heel more.

Don't try this on a boat without a fixed keel.

Gives me a great idea for a new business. Rent them out at each ICW bridge and call it "Bag or Bump!"

It could also be used to get off a grounding.
