Some alu extrusion 7 feet sections of my Harken headstay furler where dammaged by ice on my 1983H34, the boat is far from home, and I need to know the diameter of the stay wire in order to get the whright parts Thanks in advance....Richard....

Some of those extrusions are available at

Admiralty Marine in Seattle. They are cheap I think. email adm-rick@admiraltymarine.com Sorry - I don't know the size of the forestay.

Stay wire diameter

Salut Richard I happen to have taken the stay of my 84 H34 home to also do some repairs this winter. Just went to measure it. The stay itself measures at .292/.293, which would convert to about 5/16. However, the fitted end that attaches to the turnbuckle measures .620 in its widest section. That would be close to 5/8 and that's the part that you will have to fit through the sections. Good Luck
