Its about that time for bottom paint and my local marina does not have a sling. I do not have a trailer. Although I know Hunter advises against it, has anyone hauled a H26 with a forklift. I don't want to do anything that I will regret later.

I Would Not Do It

Find a guy with the trailer then offer drinks and dinner in exchange. May be a whole bunch cheaper in the long run. Where is Hudson? There maybe some one close by.

Yes it can be done

Prior to the boat we have now...we had a Hunter 31 that was lifted out via a fork lift but it was a monster in size...not the type you see at Home Depot. etc. The sling end loops were placed over the forks and the forks were so long, and extended in width and height also, that it cradled the boat and just lifted it up out of the water and placed it on stands so it could be worked on. So, yes it can be done but again this was a monster of a lift. Best of luck.
