Hatches i Galley

The little foldable table in the galley sure is a pain, the Lindstrom solution looks very nice. I´m doing an extensive rebuilding of the galley including stainless kitchen sink with a two burner butane stove and a 14.5 gal. watertank. When it´s ready I will put some pics in the Photo Forum. As the subject is open I put my galley hatch solution on the Photo Forum. There you also can see my soltion (posted 04/10) for keeping companionway hatches out of the way.

14.5 Gallon tank?

The water tank is a great addition. Have you determined how its going to effect your weight distribution especailly right to left? Russells/v Summer Luvin'

Galley woes

I've entertained updating the galley in the 240 (if that's what you would call a removable cooler, a tiny sink and a fold down table). I've thought about refrigeration (hooked to solar panel, etc) and an electric pump to distribute drinks (it's expensive but it would be cool).Question for the other 240 owners: I've now gone through two galley pumps. Hunter freely replaced the first one but now I feel like it's not worth putting the same model in. After 3 months it starts to leak and becomes worn out. Has anyone else had this problem?
