My old teak hatchboards are disintergrating and I can not seem to find a source to replace them. Looking for a source for either finished or unfinished wood. thanks evan
Evan, do you want to replace your companionway weather boards? I replaced the boards on my 27 this year, I purchased a 4x4 sheet of 3/4 teak plywood for $88.00
Evan I made new hatchboards out of Mahogany. Look for lumber with a lot of pattern and color variation in the grain and it makes beautiful boards. I used teak oil for a finish and after all summer they still look like new. Paul Palmer
