I am looking to replace the screens on all of my rectangular hatch's (mine are full of holes) on my 88 Catalina 30. These are are the side of the boat and not the top hatches. Any suggestions on where to get them?

New Screen

Can't you just keep the frame and install new screen? You can get plastic and aluminum screen at the hardware store.

RE: New Screen

Jack, The set up is a plastic frame with the screen embedded into the plastic. There is the possibility of removing the old screen and laying new screen in and filling it with an epoxy. I hadn't thought of it but might be worth the effort. The only problem is keeping some tension on the screen so it doesn't sag.

Plastic & epoxy don't mix

You'll have a hard time using epoxy as it basically IS plastic and doesn't adhere to plastic well at all. I think you'd probably have a better time with something like 3M 5200 which seems to stick to EVERYTHING, whether you want it to or not! :) LaDonna

Just ordered one from Bomar

I just ordered a screen and frame from Bomar for a Catalina 28 MkII. The cost of each was about $52. If you have a Bomar hatch my guess is they have the screen that fits.
