Hi Everyone,
I need to recauk the hatch panel on top of the dog house (the panel is attached to the top dog house with screws (under the traveler), and the campanion way hatch slides into this panel. Anyway, given the sun and salt here in Florida, the cauking has started to come apart. The question is whether anyone has done this and whether it is necessary (desirable, or just plain crazy
) to remove the panel, reseal it, then recauk after it is replaced.
Any thoughts?
