I started getting water dripping around the frame of the forward hatch, right over the v-berth whenever there was heavy rain. I found that the caulk between the deck and hatch frame was cracked and coming out so I made temporary repairs with sealant that seemed to slow it down at least. Unfortunately, it seems that I have moisture between the deck and hard liner, to the point that I noticed a drop or two coming from a light switch. My plan is to remove and rebed the hatch, my question is how difficult will it be to dry out the space between the deck and liner?

Its going to depend upon how much water intrusion there has been. If it is just the moisture between the headliner and the underside of the deck it shouldn't take more than a day or two to evaporate it once the hatch area has been cleard of old caulking.

If you have a source for compressed air, you might be able to drive out the excess water more quickly. Then follow up with a hairdryer... It might work.
