I have a 1981 23 foot O day that has a broken hatch cover. It has a trapezoid shape and I am having trouble finding someone to repair or make a new one. I tried buying 1/2 smoked acrylic but that has not been an easy task either.
Can anyone recommend a carpenter, cabinetmaker, or fiberglass shop/person to make a replacement.
Thank you, Tom Meade

Hatchmasters in CT can do it. In my experience, it was cheaper to buy new hatch lids with the acrylic than to have them do it, though.

Look for a plastics fabricator near you. Take the hatch to them and ask them to duplicate it. If the hatch is curved it will need to be heat set to fit the hatch. A flat piece forced to comply with the curve will crack.
