Hatch boards/ wash boards???????

I've got three hatch boards. They get laid on the quarterberth while loading and unloading the boat. But the lowest one is always in place while away from the dock. Our bridge deck is more like a tripping hazard than a bridge deck so we keep the board in just incase we ship water over the stern. Catching half a wave in the cockpit is better than catching NONE of a wave.

My 9.2A has a series of cloth bands attached to the top of the shelf over the quarter berth that you just slot the boards in. I can take photo the next time I am out if you are interested. How is the resto coming along?

that would be great bob...the resto is now starting to pic up steam as i am now through with my buddys boat and its in the water.....at this time i am crawling around in the stern area removing the rudder shaft and bearings along with the support channel that keeps it in line with the rest of the hull...will replace the 6" channel and mounting tabs as the old one is rusted to a marginal state, the lag screws were completely gone will have to do some glass work back there to rebuild the holes in the hull and bunks .... i have been pondering, poseing the question on here about interior mods in relation to what would one change about the interior of the 9.2 s-2 if one had the chance ie the table arrangement and along with the gally and the starboard settee...still shopping for odds and ends to do this project...did finally get my 2gm20f aux and starting to put it back together with all the high priced goodys related to yanmars....lol

Made these this winter for my 23.5 hunter.One has screens.one tinted 1/4 in plexiglass.Store in sunbrella divided bag i made .Thats what they are on in photo.Use originals for winter storage.

I leave them at home...I have half inch thick, deep tinted poly plastic doors.
