A little over a year (two years??) ago, I watched a program (Shipshape TV on the DIY channel)in which the host was showing how to refurbish cockpit cushions by spray painting them. I've searched all the archives I can think of, trying to remember the name of the paint. As I recall, it supposedly was good for painting fabric also. Does anyone know the name of this stuff? Have you used it?

Will have vinyl dye. It comes in cans that look like spray paint cans. Krylon also has a new line for painting plastics even PVC check Wally World they have it there.

Vinyl Paint

Vinyl Paint is thinned enamel, so buy the cheap stuff, and go sloooww. Thin coats and leave time to dry between.

I did mine

I did all the vinyl on my glastron last year. It took about 3-4 thin coats but looked new when finished. Lasted all season with no cracks or wearing. I bought the paint I needed at Eastwood.com. They cater to auto restorers. Tim R.
